TRAVEL THE WORLD - SANTORINI, GREECE
Looking down on the Caldera on the Greek island of Santorini is a most spectacular and beautiful experience. It was truly amazing to think that something so large - eight miles by four miles - was created by a volcanic eruption. When we visited in 1998, our hotel, a former stable for donkeys, was perched on the very edge of the cliff. We spent every morning at breakfast gazing down on the wonderful view.
