The charming town of Esneux in the Ardennes region of Belgium was photographed in 2008. I have always associated the Ardennes with the German invasion of Belgium in World War II and with the fact that my family's origins were in this area at Arimont near Malmedy. We spent three days in the Ardennes enjoying its peaceful beauty.
